HALSWELL ROAD BOARD.

The ordinary meeting of this Board was held at the office on Monday. PresentMessrs Gray (Chairman), Garforth, and Fergusson. Correspondence waa read from Mr H. Hudson, asking the Board to form a road and erect a bridge over the Boundary Creek by his section. To bs informed that the low state of the Board a funds will not allow of tbeir incurring the expense. It Jwas resolved—That the Lincoln Board be written to with a view of executing extensive repairs to Nutt's bridge; that all outstanding rates be sued for forthwith, commencing with .the largest amounts. Accounts as per paysheet, amounting to £76 4s, were passed tor payment, and the meeting closed*
