Application for Pbohcbition.—W. H. Atkinson applied for an order prohibiting his father, Joseph Atkinson, from being supplied with drink. Mr Gresson appeared for the order, Mr Helmore contra. The complainant said defendant was the worse for liquor at least one 'day in a week, for six or seven weeks past. He was living with witness' mother and two. sisters. To Mr Helmore—Witness lived a mile from defendant. Had no witnesses present, as he expected the information would be admitted. Mr Helmore said he had defendant and two witnesses to deny tbe summons. Mr Gresson applied for an adjournment, which defendant's counsel consented to, as he did not wish to produce his evidence till thc complainant's case was concluded. Adjournment for a week agreed to.
