A ROUGH TRIP. [PBTOS ASSOCIATION TELEOBAM.J WELLINGTON, January 23. The Auckland yacht Maritena arrived at 3 a.Ol. She was caught in a. southerly sale on Thursday, and lay under Mahia Peninsula sixty-two hoars. Started again on Sunday, but when fifteen miles off Ceatlepoint a squall blew away several of her sails. She was hoy and passed a terrible night closely battened down. On Monday she fell in •with another southerly gale, and ran back to Castlepoint. Crossiug Pailiser Bay the jib carried away entirely, and the boat drifted, about almost helpless all yesterday; after that got light wind, which brought them in. The crew are much cut about the hands, legs and feet, but not seriously injured. Almost all of them are thoroughly done up. The Regatta Committee meet; to arrange & race tomorrow. - ■ '
