Further particulars connected with the Waterier tragedy show that Mr and Mrs Gallagher were living amicably since the 24th October at fillies' Hotel. None of the children saw the parents after the tragedy. Gallagher was; seen to run from one room to another, but nothing was recognised in his hand, and on entering his own room he locked the door. While help was' being procured to burst open the door, a. ehoi was heard which mortally wounded him. The gun was a double-barrelled fowling piece, which he always carried, but unknown to the proprietor of the hotel.
