SECOND—The New Aesarance Business effected was for 113,679,4® THIRD—The New Annual Premium Income amounted u> L 121,800, FOURTH—The net increase to the business, after allowing for loss of income from terminated policies, •was represented by- 7028 assuring 1^.109499. 'FIFTH —The operations of the year rained the annnal income of the Society from £1512,280 to 14,625,185, an increase in twelve months or , . • SIXTH—The Accumulated Fund, was , increased dnrin the year by the'sum of L 742.811, equal to 7 per cenkof the, gross premium re. :■••.-.... cseived. * ' 1 • SJVENTH-The deaths amon«: lives : . assured were 643 under 735 ~ policies, causing claims upon the Society amounting to £299,602, irrespective of Bonus additions, while die number expected according to the Tables used in estimating thi liabilities would have been 1143 for an amount of L 438 t 978, the saor - t&lity experience being thus extremely favorable. TBIGHTH—The receipts from interest and rents were an amount -"' exceeding the' sum paid-for the The expenses of Management were only per cent, of the total receipts.
