The trotting events at the Toko* mairiro races on Boxing Day.have secured good nominations, fifteen horses, being entered for the Three mile Trot and nineteen for the Two mile; but there are poor fields of indifferent quality for the Bntce Handicap and Milburn Handicap. There are only five nominations for the former—namely, Galtee, Gazelle, Dunville, Belief, ana Ladyßell—a,ndi the following eight have been nominated for die Milbvtrn'BandicaD:—Galtee, Assyrian Kirig, - Dunvflle, Cinnabar, Crossbow, Laoffley, Shlfnal, and DaTrop. For the Cromwell annual meeting the weights are'out for the first day. Windsor, with lOst, is placed at the height of a field of BIX |n tile Grand Stand Handicap; ShP Julius naa 9sllolb, and the other four are local horses. Windsor U also at the head of affairs in the Flying Handicap, in which he is asked to carry lOst 21b.
