MR H.M. LUND'S PUPILS' RECITAL.
Last night at the St. Michael's schoolroom a pianoforte recital was given by Mr H. M. Lund's papils before a large and fashionable audience. Mr F. M. Wallace lent hie potent aid, playing wither Watkins a sonata for violin and piano, ana thus contributing to the suedes? of a very enjoyable concert. The limits of our space will not allow us to give a detailed criticism of each number in a liberal .programme, but we cannot do less than state that every one of the performers gave .distinct evidence of considerable ability and of the most thorough and able .teaching. Llngard played ncr "Cnopin Senerzo" in a way which If ft absolutely nothing to be desired, and so pleased wag the audience that she woujid have had to slay again had encores been permitted. Miss Triggs was equally successful, her delicate and finished render* ingof Wehli's"Minnebaha"belngespeciaUy admired and applauded.
