In a reply to a question in the House of Commons, Baron de Worms, Political Secretary to the Colonial Office, stated the Government were nofc prepared at present to lay on the table of the House papers in connection with the separation of. Queensland. The subject was receiving attention, and the Government were not yet in & position to make a statement.
