PIGEON BAY.
The Pigeon Bay Road Board met a Saturday, the Bth. Present—Messrs Scot (Chairman), White, and LyalL A lette was read from Mr Innes re cattle trea passing on the main road. The Chairmac stated that the Clerk had written to thi offending party, and thought that tin matter was aU right now. I. was decided to call for tenders for the grafts' seed on the main road. The tender of R. Pettigrew and Co. wa=» accepted for repairs on Holmes' Bay road. As Mr Holmes had not sent in a report on the proposed diversion of road, it was agreed to write to him and ask him to do so at his earliest convehience. A discussion took place a? to what repairs the wharf needed. Ultimately the Board resolved to go to wburl after the meeting and examine It, and get tho work started at once. Tho mceefcap then adjourned.
