News has been received here to the effect that the Portuguese lowered the British flag at Matacua, in Kraalmanica country and hoisted their own. A £arty sent by the British Souch Afrioan Company surprised the Portuguese and replaced the flag. They captured two of the Portuguese leaders. Received December 6th, LlO aan.
