DUNEDIN, December 2. The concluding day of the Dunedln Jockey Club's Spring Meeting did not attract a large attendance, and it is pretty evident that three days' racing ia as much as the public care for. The weather was fine, but cold. The following are the results:—

At the hardle entering the straight Garibaldi scumbled and nearly i unseated Walls, but the latter recovered himself cleverly. There was little between the three leaders on passing the stand, bat on anproaching the back stretch Garibaldi was in front and negotiating the rest of the hurdles in good style he got over the last obstacle jnet in front of Erebus, and fairly wore j him down in the straight, winning by two clear lengths, Erebus a long head in front of Smuggler. Joe I. soon went to the front, and though he broke twice in front of the stand, wou in a hollow fashion by seventy yards, Miss Nettie a fair third, just beating Myrtle. Time, Bmin 47aec. Dividends, £4 2s 6d and £3 Is. A protest was entered against Joe I. on the ground that he was trained and ridden in training by D. Price of Princess fame, who was uuder disqualification in Australia, but after consideration the protest was dismissed, there not being a particle of evidence in support of the protest. At the people's stand Chudleigh, Who nad dropped back third, came again under punishment, and swept past the post locked with Forest King, furnishing the first dead heat of the meeting.
