CANTERBURY CHESS CLUB.
The handicap tourney of the Canterbury Chess Ulub is nearly finished, only a few games remaining to be played. Messrs Cant and Eyre are leading, and as they still have to play one another this jjf&tne will probably decide the first prize. There were twenty-six competitors.
