LANCASTER PARK ELEVEN v ASHLEY COUNTY.
This match was continued and finished on Saturday at Bangiora, when the Park won by one Innings and (X) runs. The wicket again'played fairly. The Ashley County completed their first Innings for 33 runs, Good, the last man, being bowled by Moaa alter 2 had been added to the previous total. Being in a minority of 153, the County followed on, and succeeded in compiling 03 runs. Of this number, Baird made 21 chiefly off DeMaus, who, with Labatt, shared the bowling-; bub his style is by no means a taking one, and he was morally Out more than once to DeMaue. Helmure compiled 18 quickly and well, and seem* like working into form again, and Cumberworth, who came in late, played nicely for 15, • while Sir "Extra" wav well to the fore with 16., The Park fielding, with tew exceptions, was good, but. Ridley was not lup to his usual standard behind the aturups. Labatt and DeMaus bowled well, the latter's leg-breaks time after' time completely beating the batsmen.
