London, November 22. The Daily Telegraph considers that the result of the O'Shea divorce case has convulsed the Gladstone party. Tbe English Catholics and the Dissenting Presbyterian Press insist that Parnell should retire from the Leadership of the Irish party. The Star, in referring to the oase, admits that the English and Scotch Liberals are united against Parnell.
The New York Tribune considers that the charge on which Parnell stands convicted ia so base that he must retire.
The Canadian Press are unanimous in condemnation of his conduct. In Ireland resolutions are carried dally favoring > Parnell maintaining the Leadership of the party. The Roman Catholic Bishopß are silent in the matoer. A female admirer of Parnell's has beqnathed him £2000. At- the request of Parnell, Sir J. Gavan Duffy will contest the election for Kilkenny North, rendered necessary owing to the death of Mr E. P. Mulhallen Marum, who was returned at the last election without opposition.
