Mr G. T. Booth has reconsidered bit determination not to stand for - the Mayoralty of Sydenham for another teno* and was to-day nominated for the office* Mr W. Fenlington has been elected Mayor of 'Akaroaj without opposition fox the third year. . iT; ;. Mr D. M. Boss was also re-elected Mayor of Tiraaru without opposition fog; the third year. Mr Hugo Friedlander wai yesterday duly elected Mayor of Ashburton m« opposed. Mr Friedlander has filled tfca position on two previous ocouttoot* namely, In 1870 and 1880. ; , The meeting of supporters of Mr Man* niog, convened for last evening At fcb* Corn Exchange,.was adjourned till thi# evening at the aame place.
