JUNIOR CUP MATCHES.
The match United C.C. .v Lancaster Park C.C. was finished,on Saturday in favor of the U.C.C., who vfon by 112 runs. The U.C.C. continued their, innings and made 157, Aldred 49 and Winter 33 being the principal scorers, while several other members of the team played double figured innings for under 20. Preece was the most successful bowler, getting five wickets for 2& runs. This left Lancaster Park 167 to win, which total they failed to reach, only managing to make 55 for eight wickets, when the innings terminated, as the other two men failed to turu up. To this Cooke 25, and West 10, were the chief' contributors. Peter was most successful with the ball on behalf; of- the' U.C.G., taking three wickets in successive balls, and having a man missed' ia the field-off the fourth ball of the same; over. R. Kitto was also successful taking: three wickets for 14 runs. The St. Albans viCollege match was .Concluded on Saturday afternoon and resulted, in a win for St. Albans, after an, exciting flnish,by the narrow margin of ohe wicket and 1 run. Scores—College, 37 and 137 . St: Albans, 116 and 59 for nine wickets. For St. Albans, Philpott 36 and 8, Hasell 29 and 17, Colville 13 aud 8. Fowler 12 <not out) and 8, were the highest scorers. For the College, Watt 41 and 4, Pike 24 and 5, Perry 14 and 4. Haider II arid 1, Nichblls lland 0, were the highest scorers. Lambert was the most successful.rundler for the winners, while Dayie and Lafierty bowled well for the losers;
