(nom ASSOCIATION TBUSeBAX.) : ; j GKEYMOUTH, November 8. : At a meeting of shareholders of the Equitable Insurance Company, held tonight, the' following resolution 'was passed traanimoualy:—"That, in the opinion of the shareholders present, the action of the general meeting of shareholders in increasing the salary of directors oa 3rd May, 1884, from £3 10s per fortnight, though illegal, was done in good faith; but :this meeting declines to endorse the payment of £7 per week to the directors, and calls on those who have received finch £7 per week to refund the extra amount received by them."
