[PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.] HOSTILE NATIVES. Sydney, June 7, The captain of a trading vessel, which has arrived _ here from the Caroline Islands, reports that the Natives on the Islands are showing very hostile attitude towards theSpauish residents, and an outbreak is feared. The Natives assert that the j are treated like slaves by the colonists, and informed the captain they wanted British or American protection. FURTHER FLOODS. Darling river and its tributaries are again flooding above the Bourke. A re cent flood has reached Wentworth, a town on the banks of the.Darling near its confluence with the Murray and a repetition of the Bourke disaster is feared. LABOR BUREAUX. The local branches of the Salvation Army have a projeot on foot to establish labor bureaux on similar lines to those to be formed by the head quarters in England. FEDERATION. Melbourne-, June 7. In. the Legislative Assemby $_r Gillies has given notice of his intention to take the debate on the federation resolutions on Tuesday next.
