ADDINGTON LIVE STOCK MARKET.
m "Wednesday. A large amount of stock was yarded, and the sales all round, though not as good as those of recent weeks, were satisfactory. The rain of the past few days left the yards in a dirty condition, and stock of all sorts suffered in appearance. Fat Cattle.—From the start of the sale it was evident that the supply was greatly in excess of the demand, and prices fell from 15s to 20s a head on all sorts. A large number of really first-class bullocks were included in tie entry, but a good fewhad to be passed as owners' reserves were not reached. Best beef may be quoted at 16s per 100 lbs.
