COURT OF APPEAL.
A CHRISTCHURCa CASE. [PESSS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM. 1 WELLINGTON, May 1., In the Court of Appeal to-day, before Mr Justice Williams, Mr Justice Dennis-; f on and Mr Justice Conoily, the case of Morling and others v Ward and Co. and others, came on for hearing. It was a motion for judgment removed by order of Mr Justice Denniston into the Court of Appeal, for the purpose of determining the rights of the parties bo far as they were not determined by judgment already delivered by him, in which the defendants, Ward and Co., and Sheppard and Sopp, were made liable to the plaintiff in the sum of .£IOOO upon breach of trust. Messrs GK Harper and Tripp appeared for the separate defendants, and Mr Stringer for plaintiff. Judgment was reserved.
