PHILLIPSTOWN.

The annual meeting of the parishioners __ the Church of the Good Shepherd, iJB-d—ip-town, was held in the schoolroom last evening, the Bey. H, J. C. Gilbert jiresidlng. There was a fair attend A-tee,

The envelope had proved very satisfactory, and they strongly urged its continuance. Staring the year the choir had been sup--pHed with new surplices, funds for which ___d been specially raised. The ladies' guild had been instrumental in materially adding to the funds of the church. The CaA-BMAN said they must con--oder the report as satisfactory, and sfeowed that the church was gaining ground. This was satisfactory to him _s_ter his labor of ten years in the district. i -Mr B. W. Mo-ntfobt moved the adops£os, c_ the report and statement of acs_gmta, which was agreed to. "The Inouicbent again nominated Mr .Woodford as Clergyman's Churchwarden, find Mr B. W t Mountfort was elected _S_-__hioners' Church warden. ~ The following were elected as a Vestry:— Messrs R. Hardie.F. Martin, J. P. Brown, W. J. Stephens, J. F. WLUcox, D.Coch hH,H-W. Liddiard. Mr Kent was appointed Auditor.
