WELLINGTON, April 16. Although the Customs revenue has greatly fallen off other branches' receipts come up beyond expectations. In addi tion to railways, the succession duties and stamps have produced handsome returns, the result being that a surplus of over .£IOO,OOO will be shown. The accounts are not all made up, but the balance-sheet is expected to be ready by this evening. The Times thie morning puts the surplus as high as £116,000, but the Premier declines to vouch for the exact figures until the exact account is taken. .■.••.■. .■'■"..■' ' . Latkb.; The revenue returns for the finanoial year were not completed this evening. The Colonial Treasurer states that the surplus-will be quite 4112,000.
