The mail fronrW«fi!flgtoxron Saturday brought the resignation a* Primate of New Zealand of Bishop Hadfield. The which came to the Bishop of Netaon, through Bishop Harper, wee to the same terms a« those t«lef;rap&ed by our Wellington correspondent. Upon receipt of the resignation Bishop Satar at once took steps to call the General Synod together at IVellinutoa on April 23rd, Circulars convening the Synod were sent out during Saturday. It is expected that the consecration of the Bishop of Ciobt* church will take place on May Ist.
