A man, named Jas. Hunter, alias Stacey* was received into the Hospital to-night in a very weak condition from loss ol blood, and is now in a very critical cofi< dition. ' The man was found in hie houljM covered with blood, and the woman, Marj McNaught, with whom he was living, stated that when Hunter came home he brought a man with him, and the two got quarrelling, Hunter being struck on thi head with a bottle.
