IN BE K. W. OSBOKNE. Motion for writ of attachment. Mr Caygill for the Deputy Official Assignee; Mr Kippenberger appeared to oppose the motion on behalf of Mr McConnel. This was an application on the part of the Deputy Official Assignee in the bankrupt estate of E. W. Osborue, that a writ of attachment issue against Robert McConnel for bis contempt in not obeying an order of tbe Court to deliver up certain goods and chattels, and pay over the proceeds <£402 Os lid) of others that have been disposed of. The Assignee also made application for costs. Mr C&ygili having stated hi-? case, Mr Kippenberger submitted that certain necessary proceedings, in the matter had not been taken by Mr Caygili on behalf of the Assignee. Mr Caygill called evidence to prove that orders of the Court had been made, and that McConnel had not obeyed them. He also cited authorities in support of his motion. Mr Kippenberger addressed the Court at considerable length. The Court then adjourned till 10 a.m. today.
