RESIGNATION OF THE PORTUGUESE MINISTRY.
THE ENGLISH DEMANDS CONCEDED.
[per press association.] Received January 14th, 12.25 p.m. London, January 13. It is reported that England will seize Dekgoa Bay railway unless reparation be made by Portugal. Received January 14th, 8 pan. Lisbon, January 13. Three thousand people attacked the British Consulate, and fifty were arrested. The Ministry has resigned. The city is quieter. Rioters are parading the streets, crying " Viva Pinto." Received January 14th, 10 p.m. ; Lisbon, January 14. The Governor of Mozambique has been ordered to immediately execute England's wishes with reference to the withdrawal of the Portuguese officials and troops from the Shire river and Mashonaland. Excited crowds throng the streets ot. the city, cheering the other foreign legations. Senhor Pimeatal is engaged in forming a new Ministry.
