The day was mostly taken up with trotting events, and a feature was the grand form displayed by Princess, who established a record for both two miles and one mile. A protest has been lodged against Princess on the ground of wrong identity, which will be considered on Monday, but it is said the mare is well known at Ashbarton and that, no doubt can be entertained of her genuineness.
