A summoned meeting of the oMeere &n& members of Court Star of Canterbury, Ho. 2309, A.O.R, was held recently at the Foresters' Hall, Oxford terrace, w&ea a large number assembled. The chair waa taken by P.D.O.R. Bro. H. Crooks, ©ad amongst those present were Bros. Huastm, Samuels, and Gapes, P.D.C.8.'3, and Bro* Marks, D.C.8., from Court Thistle of e&® Forest, Sydenham. The ordinary routine business was supplemented by a repdsrfe from the Woodwards, who notified the death of Bro. Berry, an old and much esteemed member. Correspondence oa varioas subjects from North Canterbury, Napier, Melbourne, and the Channel Isles was read, and by & vote of the meeting ft was decided to bold & church parade at an early date, the arrangements and the engagement of a band being referred to Managing Committee. Bro. Davidson, P.C.R., reported progress in connection with the " tableau " arrangements* aisdl £10 was paid over to defray petty expenses connected therewith. The C.B, Bro.
