The fortnightly meeting of the fffcJU? o* Anglesea, No. 10, U.A.0.D., Lincoln, "*»• held on Tuesday evening, Bro. F. Wateon, A.D., In the chair. There was a £§!* attendance of members present. AflW several minor matters had been disposed of, P. A. Bro. W. Bartram, on behali! of the Lodge, presented a handsomely* framed Past Arch diploma to F.iL Bs@»' 4 J« Taylor, District President, as a am*li token of the appreciation of the services he had rendered to the Lodge. Bro* Taylor suitably responded, afte wa!d& «2t adjournment was made for re£ar@ahsnen6« when several toasts were proposed, AU&9 some songs bad been given by some of the members, also readings, the meeting 4»9» minated. The postponed Lodge meeting of the Mistletoe £odge, U.A.0.D., wae iialii Iα Druids' Hall on Wednesday Eight, A.D* Bro. Smith presiding. There w«s » liiffga attendance of brethren and visitors. ©oyrespondence was read and received, sail one brother's sick-pay passed. It w&t noted with satisfaction tha.t the sicloiess of this Lodge had been very low dteSig the present year. The District; Graaa Lodge representative reported on t&e 3>ening of the District Grand • Lotos ©a onday. The Lodge was adJoamaS till Tuesday, December 17th. as tae ordlsgasy Lodge meeting would fail upon Mosday, December 16th, which is a public holiday. A summoned meeting of the oMeere &n& members of Court Star of Canterbury, Ho. 2309, A.O.R, was held recently at the Foresters' Hall, Oxford terrace, w&ea a large number assembled. The chair waa taken by P.D.O.R. Bro. H. Crooks, ©ad amongst those present were Bros. Huastm, Samuels, and Gapes, P.D.C.8.'3, and Bro* Marks, D.C.8., from Court Thistle of e&® Forest, Sydenham. The ordinary routine business was supplemented by a repdsrfe from the Woodwards, who notified the death of Bro. Berry, an old and much esteemed member. Correspondence oa varioas subjects from North Canterbury, Napier, Melbourne, and the Channel Isles was read, and by & vote of the meeting ft was decided to bold & church parade at an early date, the arrangements and the engagement of a band being referred to Managing Committee. Bro. Davidson, P.C.R., reported progress in connection with the " tableau " arrangements* aisdl £10 was paid over to defray petty expenses connected therewith. The C.B, Bro.
