NAPIBB, Kovember 33. Charles Wood, for forging an order for the payment of one week's board and lodging, was sentenced, in the B.M. Court, to nine months* imprisonment. The Coroner made an order to exhume the body of Ah Yack, Dr. Menriea having l stated his belief that the Chinaman met his death by strangling. BIBFTON, November 33. James Wilkie,- conductor of the Evening Guardian, yesterday was committed for trial at the Supreme Court, Hokitika, on two separate charges of criminally libelling Mr Prank Bird. E.M. and Warden, in *tt official and private capacity. Ball was allowed in each case.
