4 There are various ways of testing the germinating power of seeds. The surest method, perhaps, is to take a small flowerpot and pot in the bottom some broken crocks or tile for drainage; then fill ud the pot with light sandy soil, and then wesa the earth down as smoothly aa possible, which It conveniently done by the psressur of another pot. Afe ft days will enable you to count the seeds that have germinated.
