HAMPSTEAD.
At the monthly meeting of the Hampstead School Cotnmitr.ee, held on Friday, there were present Messrs A. Orr (Chairman), Andrews, Baker, Johnston, Meaclem and Smith. Amongst other business transacted, it wa? decided to apply to the Board for the erection of an additional classroom, the school at present being much overcrowded. Mr L. B. Wood, who has recently inspected the school, reported that the school was in a thoroughly sound condition of efficiency.
