CANTERBURY TROTTING CLUB.
The first meeting of the present season for this Club takes place to-day at the Addington Show Grounds. The track is in good order, and an interesting afternoon's sport is anticipated. The following horses may win :— Maiden : PRIMROSE. Harness ; two miles: FAREWELL. Saddle; three miles: DESPISED. Novel : MY DREAM or DICK TTJBPIN. Pont (harness): AYRSHIRE LASS. Thbxx Miles (saddle): JUMBO. Two Miles : TOMMY IL OB PRIMROSE.
