Bra Foster fully explained to the hoDoraxy members their standing in the Lodge, pointing out that although they were debarred from voting, except as •Bowed by the Friendly Societies Act, which refers cnly to the dissolution of a Ledge, they were at all times granted the privilege of speaking in the way of opinion or advice on questions for the good and welfare of (he Order, which in many respects might be considered as equivalent to a vote. Bro. Williams gave a brief report of the proceedings of (he late half-yearly district meeting, showing that several important measures tending to the advancement of <te Order, had been carried.
