The Exhibition buildings and land cover 12i acres, so that with, the exception :of the Victorian Centennial Exhibition, i this will be the largest Exhibition yet held in AuatraLasia- The catering has been intrusted to Mr J. Wells* who tendered at J31205. The.Ceremonial Committee have arranged for Saturday popular concerts right through the Exhibition period* and a number of entertainments will be got np locally. .The following professionals have been engaged:—Frank Lincoln, the | American,: humorist, from December! 2nd to December 17th; Maccabe from I January 13th to January 17th.; j Professor Kennedy, the mesmerist; from ; January 20th to .January 29tbl •-'The Exhibition opens on November 26th, and closes on' April 12rh. It is expected that the Ministry will be represented at the opening ceremony by the Premier, the Minister for Justice, and the Native Minister, while fully fifty members of Parliament have already'signified their intention of putting in- an appearance. _?he "buildings are' now completely roofed In, the weather haying proved most, propitious ; indeed the fall of rain since this work was begun has been phenomenally slight.
