She was, according to late advices, lying at port with the Earnock, also from Lyttelton. Both ships were to leave for London, to load for the Colonies. Akaroa, s.s., leaves for Akaroa this afternoon. Jubilee, S.S., left for Dunedin at 2.40 p.m. yesterday. Crusader, snip, i% to sail for Auckland to-day. Rotoxua,s.B., Captain Neville, arrived at 8.15 a.m. yesterday, from Nelson, Picton, and Wellington. Set purser reports leaving Nelson at 2 p.m. on the 16th ; called at Picton, and arrived in Wellington at 7 a.m. on Monday. 17th; left again at 3 p.m. and arrived as stated above. Experienced fine weather throughout. She left for Akaroa and Dunedin at 1 p.m. CairntouL 5.8., Captain Allman, arrived at 8.30 a.m, yesterday, from Dunedin. She loads for Melbourne, and is to get away to sea on Saturday. Omapere, s.s., Captain Smith, arrived at an early hour yesterday morning, from Westport. Croydon Lass, schooner, sailed for Waitapu at 3.45 p.m. yesterday. ! Clematis, ketch, sailed for Havelock at A p.m. yesterday. Alert, schooner, cleared for Waitara yesterday. Jane Douglas, 8.8., left on her usual weekly trip to Kaikoura last night, she is due in port again this evening. In reference to a paragraph which appeared in this column in yesterday's . issue* to the effect that the Kirkcudbrightshire comee to Lyttelton to load on account of the Farmers' Co-operative Association, we learn that the New Zealand Shipping Company nave chartered the ship, and will load ncr at Lyttelton for Home.
