THIS COMPANY is proposed to be esta. bushed for the purpose of purchasing (or leasing) suitable buildings in the principal cities of New Zealand, and to carry thereon tbe business-of Meat Purveyors in all its branches, and to export meat .(principally beef) to Australia and Tasmania. The" Promoters have been induced to form this Company with the object of establishing a regular trade with Australia and Tasmania, and arrangements have been made with the Union Steamship Company of New Zealand, Limited, to provide oooUng chambers in their boats, solely for the conveyance of this Company's meat to Australian and Tasmanian ports, and it is thought by the formation of such a company to establish a better and more profitable market for cattle throughout New Zealand than at present exists. The Company will be entirely managed by the Shareholders, who will have the appointment of the Directors. The number of Shares that can be applied for by any one individual is unlimited, but the power of voting will be restricted, each Shareholder having one vote for every ten Shares up to 500; but no Shareholder will be entitled to more than fifty votes, irrespective of the number of Shares be may hold. The establishment of this Company will supply a long-felt want, as heretofore stock producers have not had the facility of disposing of their cattle at current prices, and as the Shares will be principally held by them, (they will not only obtain better prices for their stock, but also participate in the profits of the Company. The whole of the capital paid up will be placed to the credit of the Company, less brokerage of five per cent, on the subscribed capital and preliminary expenses. In the event of the Company not being established, the whole of the application money will be returned without any deduction for preliminary or other expenses. Shares will be allotted in order of priority of application. . Applications for Shares, Prospectus forms, and all information, can be had from the Solicitors of the Company ; or from TODD, TUCKBTELD and CO. 52 Phoenix Chambers, Lambton Quay, Wellington.
