A PROCLAMATION TTTTHEREAS the LANDS mentioned in Ote Vt Schedule hereto are required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1882, and its Amendments, for a certain Publio Work, to wit. the WIDENING of the PUBLIC DRAIN in the OXFORD ROAD DISTRICT, known as the Main Drain, and the construction of protective works thereto. And whereas the Oxford Road Board haa laid before the Governor the memorial, accompanied by a map, and also the statutory declaration required by the said Act and the amendments thereof. Now, therefore, L WILLIAM HILLIER. Earl of Onalow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities in mc vented by the Publio Works Act, 1883, and of every other! power and authority in anywise enabling mc in that behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the date of the publication hereof in the " New Zealand Gazette, the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto are hereby taken for the said publio work.
