FROM OUR CORRESPONDENT.

'< WELLINGTON, July 14. The Hon. Mr Fertrus promised some time back that Government would have an electric boat conveyed to Mossburn free of rharxe for the convenience of visitors to the Otayo lakes. Since then the railways have passed into the hands of the Railway Commissioners, and tns promise has not been fulfilled.
