Fat Sheep.—This was the beat represented class of stock in the day's market, and although there was not as many brought forward as at last week's sale the proportion of fat sheep was larger than has been the case lately. The market was topped by a pen of extremely large crossbred wethers, which were sold by Mr F. C. Tabart. These brought as much as 18a a head, or about 2§d per lb, but several other pens made close on 2£a, which must be considered satisfactory, taking Into account the large entry.
