MESSAGE FROM THE DEAD.

[PBR PBBSS ASSOCIATION. - ) Received July sth, 1.30 a.m,

Brisbane, July 4. The remains of a human body, found eighty miles from Charleville, have been identified as those of A. G. Fitzherbert, who in January last started to walk from Advale to CharleviLe, and has not been since heard of. On the bottom of a pannikin found near the body was scratched the following words :—"Write S. Fitzherbert, Wanganui, and tell him to provide for wife and children."

The deceased was a surveyor, and the circumstances of his being missing were recorded in the Press at the time His brother, Mr S. Fitzherbert, is a solicitor at TV aoganuL They are sons of Sir W. Fitzherbert, Speaker of the legislative Council. a
