Monday, July 1. (Before R. Beetham, Esq., R.M., and E. Salter, J.P.) • Drunkenness.—James Faulkner, whe had been admitted to bail, did not appear, and was fined 10s. Jessie Halliburton and two first offenders were fined 5s each. Alleged Vagrancy. — Thomas Piper, an elderly man, was charged with having no lawful visible means of support. It appeared that he had been an inmate of the Jubilee Memorial Home, and the Bench remanded the case till next day to allow of enquiries being made.
