[PBSS3 ASSOCIATION TELEBBAMS,] AUCKLAND, June 25. The Harbor Board have resolved to ask further advice from experts as to the injury to the machinery at the Calliope Dock. A man named Lawrence Dron, who recently arrived from Nelson, was fined £b 8s at the Police Court, to-day, for having smuggled six pounds of tobacco, it is supposed from the steamer Kaikoura. WELLINGTON, June 25.
, A charge of obtaining goods under false pretences, which arose against J. J. Ingram out of his examination in bankruptcy, was dismissed in the B.M. Court.
There are eight charges against seven prisoners for the criminal sessions of the Supreme Court. The most eerioua are murder end arson.
