Loch's reputation for tact and discretion will help him to overcome the difficulty of hie delicate position as Governor of the Cape. The Daily New doubte whether Governor Loch is strong enough to succeed Sir H. Robinson. The Times hopea that when the excitement subsides he will receive local assistance from the supporters of the late Governor.
