The Commissioners for the Melbourne Exhibition held their closing meeting this afternoon, when a final report was adopted for presentation to the Government. total awards gained by New Zealand •zhibitere number 355, of which 135 were firsts Xincluding six epecial mentions), 10 seconds; 61 thirds, and 67 honorable mentions. I understand that the Secretary, Mr Callis, received a highly commendatory letter from the New Zealand Besident Commissioner in Melbourne and from the Yktorian Commissioners.
