Malls close for the following places as under (subject to the necessary alterations) :— TUESDAY, APRIL 16. For Kaikoura. per Wakatu, at 3.20 p.m.; late fee letters, 3.30 p.m.; guard's van, 4 p.m. train. For Dunedin, per Manapouri, ac 3.20 p.m.; late fee letters, 3.30 p.m.; guard's van, 4 p.m. train. For' South America, United Kingdom, and Continent of Europe (speciallyI addressed "per Aorangi only"), and Northern perU of New Zealand, per Penguin, as follows:— Ordinary letters, at 7 p-rn.; late fee letters, 7.15 p.ro.; books and newspapers at 6.30 p.m.; registered letters at 5 p.m.; guard's van, 5.15 p.m. train. Note.—Parcels will be received up till 5 p.m. THUBSDAY, APBIL 1& For United Kingdom and Continent of Europe (specially addressed " per Orient steamer and also for France, Algeria, Mauritius, &c. (specially marked "per French packet only"), and Australian Colonies per express (to connect with s.s. Manapouri), at 7.30 a.m. For the United Kingdom, Conti; nents of Europe and America, and West Indies (via San Francisco), Sandwicb Islands, Gape of Good Hope, Northern Ports of New Zealand, &c, &c,, per Takapuna, as follows:—Letters, at 9 p.m ; books and newspapers, 8 p.m.; money orders, at 4 p.m.; registered letters, 5 p.m. This mail will be due in London on May 27th. Notk.—A supplementary mail for United Kingdom, &c, only wul be made up on Good Friday, closing at 7 p.m. Note. —On Good Friday the Office will be closed in all its branches. On Thursday nighi the Office will be open between 9 and 10 p. m. for delivery of correspondence usually delivered by letter carriers on the following day.
