American shows a slight improvement. Forward business is weak, and only transacted at a decline. The arrivals of foreign wheat are large, and offcoast cargoes are not meeting with ready sale. Received March 26th, _,__ a.m. Sydney, March 25. Wheat — Adelaide. 5s 6d; New Zealand, 4s lOd to 5s 2d; flour, roller made, £12 10s to £12 14s. stone made £11 15s to £12 10s; pollard, Is 5d to Is 6d. London, March 25. New Zealand hemp is quoted at £37 5s to £37 10s per ton.
