The Union Company's steamer Ringarobma, Captain Altaian, arrived at 6.15 a.m. yesterday from Nelson, Picton, and "Welllpirton, with the inward 'Frisco mail. Her purser, Mr Thoe. Paterson, reports leaving Kelson at 11.30 a.m. on the sth, called at Picton, and arrived at Wellington at 6.30 a.m. on the 6th; sailed thence at 2.30 p.m., and arrived here as stated above. Experienced light variable winds with fine weather, ana smooth seas were met with on the trip down. She steamed for Dunedin at 2 p.m. The Union Company's steamer Te Anau, Captain Kennedy, arrived at 8.30 a.m. yesterday from Melbourne, via Hobart, Bluff and Dunedin. Her purser reports leaving Williamstown at 4.30 t.m. on 26th ult., cleared Port Phillip Heads at 7.35 p.m., Bwan Island abeam at 1 p.m. on 27th, Arriving at Hobart at 6 a-m, on 28th, sailed at 3.15 p.m., called at Preservation Inlet at 4 p.m. on Sunday, arriving at Bluff at 6 a.m. on 4th, sailed at 6 p.m. .same day, called at Dunedin on oth, leaving »t 5 p.m. on 6th. Experienced moderace variable winds and fine weather, arriving here as stated above. Last night &be left for Sydney via Northern Ports. The Colonial Government steamer Stella Iβ doe in port to-day from Wellington. By advertisement in another column it will be seen that all claims against the ■hip Halcione, from London, must be rendered to Messrs J. Inglis and Co. by the 11th Inst. The S3. Akaroa leaves for Akaroa this afternoon. ' The barque Kinclune clears for Oatnaru to-day. She will get away to sea this evening. Last night the Union Company's s.B. Hauroto steamed for Dunedin. Yesterday the schooner Lily cleared for Timaru with salt ex the barque Kinclune, «*nd the schooner Clio for Waitapu in ballast The Jane Douglas left on her usual "Weekly trip to Kaikouralast night.
