[PBK PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Received February 28th, noon. London, February 27. The quantity of wheat and flour afloat for the United Kingdom is 2,040,000 quarters; for the Continent, 482,000. The visible American supply is 32,750,000 bushels. The English wheat market is firmer. English and Continental is unchanged; forward business shows an advance in values. Arrivals of foreign wheat are of moderate quantity only. Off-coast cargoes have not met with ready sale lately. deceived February 28th, 2 p.m. Sydnbt, February 28. Oats are dull and plentiful, at 2s 9d to 3s 3d : best -maize, weevily, 2s 6d; sound, 3s 6d; pollard, Is to Is Id; wheat is quiet; feed, 2s 9d to 3s 6d ; milling, 4s 9d to 5s Id for Adelaide sorts; potatoes, New Zealand, £6; Warrnambools, £5 10s; Circular Heads, £7. It is expected prices will be lower shortly. Onions 11s. The cheese market is glutted; New Zealand, 5d to 7d; bacon is easier, 9d to 9Jd ; hams dull, 10d to Is; bran, 10£ dto lid; butter, factory-made, 10d to Is, with a plentiful supply; New Zealand nominally 6d to 9d. Melbourne, February 28. Wheat has advanced, and is now quoted at 4s 10£ d; flour, atone made, £10 10s; oats, Danish, 3s 10d; barley, Cape, 3s 3d; maize, 4s 2d: bran, Is o£d. Adelaide, February 28. Wheat, 4s 6d at Port Adelaide, 4s 4d for outports ; flour, roller made £11 ss, stone made £10 10e. The market is quiet. Bran, 11 pollard, la Id; New Zealand oats, 4s 2d to 4s 3d; barley, malting, ss. Received February 28th, 8 pan. London, February 27. An Australian cargo of wheat has been sold at 38s 9d.
