Mr Balfour stated that he laost distinctly declined to extend any favor to political prisoners, as they were more deserving of punishment than those whom they made dupes. In the Houße of Commons to-day J£r John Morley moved his amendment to the Address in Reply, of which he had previously given notice. In his amendment Mr Morley urges that conciliatory measures with regard to ; Irish affairs should be adopted by the Qovernment. ___________ _ — -
