Just In Time—-The mine manager reports :—" Since my last there is no change for the better in the winze. We commenced to sink on Monday last to see if any stone making, but up to the present there is nothing but small leaders, and the ground 13 very much broken and very hard.
Inkeraan—The mine manager reports— On Monday last t started to open Out from the winze 7-ft down from the surface. On Tuesday the air was so had that 1 had to knock the men off below, and start them to centre up the winze, which was finished yesterday. I have also had to put the air pipes down the winze. Have hot done anything further to the new find yet; The, contractor will have the trial tramway finished in about eight days. Venus Extended—lt is reported that a_xang*e__ents have bean concluded for the sale of thia property to _n English syndicate, and an extraordinary meeting of the shareholder, has been called to empower the Directors to dispose of the property. Big River~*-There ia some talk of a new reef having been found in this locality, but about two miles distant from the Big River Company's ground; but so far very little is known definitely about it.
